You will be responsible for the oversight of ongoing maintenance and repairs of all Community properties and will work with the Community's external service providers to assist in the management of property purchases, disposals and leases.
The role is a permanent, part-time position and would suit an experienced person looking for work-life balance and who enjoys working in a small team.

About Us
Emerging Futures Collaborative Limited (EFCL) is a not-for-profit organisation, established to support and serve Religious Institutes in transition across Australia. These Religious Institutes are known as our Service Partners.
EFCL’s services include transition support, health and wellbeing coordination, administration, and community coordination. We provide these services while also honouring each Service Partner’s legacy and mission.
We are seeking an experienced Health & Wellbeing Support Officer to help support one of our Service Partners, the Presentation Sisters Wagga Wagga.
About the Role
Reporting to the EFCL Shared Services Manager, and working closely with the Health & Wellbeing Coordinator, you will assist in ensuring a comprehensive suite of care and support services is provided to each Sister, to enable her to live her life to the full and maintain her independence for as long as possible.
Working within our model of care, you will assist the Sisters transition to new services; facilitate care plan implementation and monitoring; ensure health records are maintained and up to date; assist in arranging group and individual programs to promote Sisters’ health and wellbeing; and ensure the Sisters’ health and aged care entitlements are utilised in an optimal way.
You will visit and provide general assistance to Sisters living in residential care, and help ensure each Sister receives appropriate clinical support by arranging and attending medical appointments, scheduling appropriate immunisations, and organising medical and allied health assessments, such as vision and hearing assessments.
The role is a permanent, part-time position, 27.5 hours a week, to be worked from Monday to Friday and is based in Wagga Wagga.
About You
You will have experience in aged care, be a compassionate and caring person, and have a genuine desire to support the elderly to live valued and meaningful lives.
You will also have an appreciation of and commitment to supporting the ethos, culture, mission and charism of the Presentation Sisters Wagga Wagga.
Specifically, as the ideal candidate for this role, you will meet the following Key Requirements:
Extensive experience in an aged care setting
Experience in providing care to meet individual requirements and capacity to support individuals through transition
Demonstrated awareness and understanding of social issues experienced by older people
Effective communication, listening and interpersonal skills, and proven ability to advocate and influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
Ability to create appropriate and respectful relationships with individual Sisters, colleagues and other stakeholders, and to identify and escalate gaps in service provision
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
Current, unrestricted driver’s license, access to a comprehensively insured and roadworthy motor vehicle, and willingness to travel to the Sisters’ locations and to accompany them to medical and other health-related appointments.
