About the Role

To support Draybi Accountants in its mission, we have a unique opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant whose primary responsibility will be to provide accounting and taxation services to our clients.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

·  Prepare business activity statements

·  Prepare financial reports

·  Prepare tax returns (individual, company, trust and partnerships)

·  Prepare PAYG payroll reports.

In doing so, you will liaise with our clients, and work in close collaboration with our other accounting staff.

The role is full-time role based in Parramatta.

About You

Specifically, as the ideal candidate for this role, you will meet the following Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications (or near completion) in Accounting or other relevant area of study

  • 2-3 years’ experience in public practice

  • Experience using MYOB and Xero

  • Good Knowledge of preparing financials, tax returns, BAS, IAS and Payroll

  • A self-starter who can work autonomously and with others in a team

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work with various accounting software packages including MYOB and Xero

  • Confident interpersonal skills and comfortable dealing with clients and colleagues

  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently
