Reporting to the NSW Community Leadership Team, you will use your extensive business, financial and accounting experience to ensure the proper administration of the temporal goods of the Congregation.
You will ensure effective and efficient business management systems and procedures are established and maintained, that all statutory reporting and compliance requirements are met, and that the financial needs of the Community members are addressed.
You will be responsible for the oversight of ongoing maintenance and repairs of all Community properties and will work with the Community's external service providers to assist in the management of property purchases, disposals and leases.
The role is a permanent, part-time position and would suit an experienced person looking for work-life balance and who enjoys working in a small team.

They contribute their expertise, experience and creativity to sustain and continually renew the life of the College and are committed to education and to shaping the educational experiences of our students.
About the Opportunity
The Board is seeking expressions of interest for non-executive director positions, from suitably qualified people, who are committed to the principles of Catholic education and have a passion for supporting and promoting exemplary contemporary education.
We are seeking Directors for this voluntary position with considerable knowledge, skills and experience (preferably in Catholic Education) in one or more of the following areas:
Stewardship and Sustainability
Leadership in Catholic Mission Formation and Identity,
Technology
Risk & Governance
Philanthropy.
Underpinning the experiences you bring to the Board will be your commitment to the principles of Catholic Education and a commitment to enhancing the role of St Vincent’s College as a significant entity within Mary Aikenhead Ministries and the Catholic Church.
As a member of the College Board, you will work alongside the Board Chair and Directors who oversee the governance and direction of the College. Your role will be pivotal in the continued success of the Board. This includes supporting the Principal (CEO) and College Senior Leadership Team in shaping the educational experiences of our students, ensuring they are encouraged to be courageous women of action, and develop both personally and as a community.
There are 8 Board meetings held per year (preferably ‘in person’ at Potts Point).
Board Directors are encouraged to sit on at least one of the following Committees which meet up to four times a year:
Finance & Audit Committee
Risk & Governance Committee
Building & Development Committee
Mission, Identity & Education Committee
Travel and other out-of-pocket expenses will be covered to fulfill director obligations.
Board Directors are appointed for a 3-year term.
