You will be responsible for the oversight of ongoing maintenance and repairs of all Community properties and will work with the Community's external service providers to assist in the management of property purchases, disposals and leases.

About Us
The Little Sisters of the Poor is a not‑for‑profit, mission‑driven organisation dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to older persons in need.
Glendalough Home, Perth is a 60-bed residential aged care facility, employing around 100 permanent full-time, part-time, and casual staff.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to lead our team of clinical staff.
About the Role
This is a truly unique opportunity to bring your clinical expertise and experience leading multi-skilled teams, ideally in an aged care setting, to a group of religious women who serve the needs of each person in their care, especially those who are poorest and/or weakest, and do so in reverence of the sacredness of human life and the uniqueness of each person.
As the Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the clinical operations of Glendalough Home. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care which complies with legislative requirements, including the Aged Care Quality Standards, and which demonstrates best practice. You will also be responsible for ensuring non-clinical departments comply with the Standards and other legislative obligations.
You will collaborate closely with the Mother Superior to uphold the Home’s mission, values, and spiritual care framework, ensuring residents receive holistic support that integrates clinical excellence with compassionate service.
In undertaking your role, you will actively support the life and mission of the Little Sisters of the Poor, and foster the advancement of their ministry to the community.
This role is a permanent, full-time position based in Glendalough, Perth. There is an occasional requirement to work outside normal business hours.
About You
Your experience in a similar role, as well as your knowledge of the health and aged care sectors, relevant Aged Care Quality Standards, and the accreditation process, will be key to this role.
Specifically, as the ideal candidate for this role, you will meet the following Key Requirements:
An appreciation for, and a demonstrated alignment with, the mission, values and philosophy of the Little Sisters of the Poor
Minimum of 5 years’ post registration clinical experience
Experience in coordinating and leading a multi-skilled team
Knowledge of legislation relevant to the provision of residential aged care services
Knowledge of the scope of practice of the various levels of health professional and support staff in the residential aged care environment
Comprehensive knowledge of the ageing process and age-related health issues
High level financial management skills
High level written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work confidentially in a sensitive environment.
