You will ensure effective and efficient business management systems and procedures are established and maintained, that all statutory reporting and compliance requirements are met, and that the financial needs of the Community members are addressed.
You will be responsible for the oversight of ongoing maintenance and repairs of all Community properties and will work with the Community's external service providers to assist in the management of property purchases, disposals and leases.
The role is a permanent, part-time position and would suit an experienced person looking for work-life balance and who enjoys working in a small team.

The Catholic Institute of Sydney (‘the Institute’) is Oceania’s only Ecclesiastical Faculty of Theology. We teach and confer highly-prized ecclesiastical qualifications in theology, and also offer a rich program of civil degree courses in philosophy and theology through our strategic alliance with the University of Notre Dame Australia.
As well as being the main educator of seminarians for the Archdiocese of Sydney, other dioceses and religious congregations, we prepare candidates for their ordination as a deacon and other ministries. We also offer Catholic intellectual formation through outreach and events, with a special focus on adult formation.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing and Social Media Coordinator to join our warm and supportive community on a part-time basis.
About the role
This is a new role reporting to the President of the Institute. Working closely with the President, you will lead the marketing, social media and communication functions for the Institute.
You will promote the Institute, its brand and reputation as a unique, high-quality Catholic educational institution, and ensure its social media presence.
With a flair for marketing and using your exceptional writing skills, you will design and implement innovative physical and digital promotional materials including flyers, newsletters, enrolment materials and annual reports. You will prepare regular media releases and identify other opportunities for public comment.
You will prepare and monitor the budget and ensure the delivery of goals within the agreed cost allocation and timeframe.
The role is a permanent part-time role, with the number of days to be worked negotiable. The position is based in Strathfield, Sydney.
About You
Your can-do and energetic approach to work is key to this role, as is your experience in marketing and/or communications, particularly in the digital space.
As the ideal candidate, you will satisfy the following Key Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualifications (marketing or communications) and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role
Experience in digital platforms, social media, website maintenance and graphic design
High-level computer skills and thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Suite of products, including Indesign and Photoshop
Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems and evaluate data
Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, be self-directed and solution focused
Understanding of, and commitment to Catholic values and teachings
Current NSW driver’s licence.
